The following photos are from a day trip to the small town of Temple, Texas which is a rail hub for both the Union Pacific and the BNSF railways. The station here is also a stop for Amtrack as well and we did catch that passenger train making a stop as well.
While we only stopped for a picnic and stayed for no more than 90 minutes there was quite a bit to see, not to mention the town itself which needs at least two or more full days of attention with the camera. We intend to take future trips to Temple just to see what else the town offers and those photos will be posted here as well.
